These children’s blocks still fascinate and are a source of some important historical information. Each block had alphabet characters and pictures of many things with the names printed below. Some had story or nursery rhyme characters printed as well and many of them later had cartoon characters such as Mickey Mouse stamped into them. The blocks in this grouping are from two different sets and include a deer, hen, bear, and truck images printed one the side. One block is from a Mickey Mouse or Walt Disney set and the others are an alphabet set. Even today children’s blocks continue to be made but the old ones still have a classic style and quality that is unique.
