B is for Ball: Alphabet Blocks with a Baseball
I’ve been looking for this baseball for some time now and finally found it. This is a continuation of the alphabet blocks paintings that I set out do some time ago. I have acquired a set of antique alphabet blocks made by The Embossing Company of Albany, New York made around 1911, however they were never used so they are still in the original box and appear to be brand new with no marks or scuffs, so its been fun to paint them. The ball however was one that my kids and I played with many years ago, so it has a lot of scuff marks and is quite weathered. This was a fun painting to do.
